The Bible records a message that Jesus shared one day on a hillside that was packed full of life changing truth. Known today as the Beatitudes, these eight truths are relevant for us today! In the Greek, the word "blessed" here is MAKARIOS, which best translates "good for you!". Jesus helps us look at every situation in life and see that His plan truly is "good for you!"
