The past several weeks have been a vivid reminder that the church is still the “Hope of the World.” What began in the Upper Room in Jerusalem 2000 years ago is as real now as it was then. The church is alive and vibrant!

During 40 Days of Community, we have put our faith into action, there has been a keen sense of the Spirit’s enabling power. Spiritual darkness has been exposed by the light of Jesus. Spiritual gifts have been stirred and exercised with amazing results. Spiritual barriers have fallen as we have grown in relationships within the church.

Our prayer is that the glimpse of the Kingdom we have experienced together will just be a first step. May the foundation the Spirit has laid during this time support an ever-expanding Kingdom initiative. As a community may we truly experience – Living Faith!

40 Days of Community Small Groups

40 Days of Community Outreach Projects 

Together...
- we helped remove over 10 TONS of trash from city streets and county parks
- we painted 40 park benches
- we gave out over 9,000 bottles of Aquahon water
- we cooked and gave out over 800 hot dogs in the city and county
- we collected and gave away 20 carts of groceries
- we hosted two block parties for hundreds of people
- we gave a lunch, prayer and encouragement to over 400 homeless men and women
- we repaired three homes by replacing windows, doors and carpet, repairing ceilings, installing drywall, landscaping and even a complete bathroom remodel...all in ONE DAY
- we made over 50 new friends at retirement homes throughout our area
- we directly shared the message of Christ with 300 people
- we prayed with 80 people as they gave their hearts to Jesus
